FAQ: I’m seeing an H-Sphere error, what is this?13 Nov
Depending on the situation as there are several messages (Server Side) which may be viewable throughout the first stages of your Web Hosting with Alive Online.
Firstly, once a Web Hosting account has been created through our HSphere Control Panel it is normal for an error page to appear. This error page will be blue and white and will ask for your Web Hosting Login account details – no need to be alarmed, this is just a simple login for your account.
Basically, this screen is based on your Indexing. Your Domain, depending on what you have uploaded via FTP, may have two Indexes, one could be Index.php or Index.html thus confusing your Web Hosting settings. One of these indexes can be altered to stop the error from appearing, simply rename the file to which ever you desire.
Secondly, your hosting account may view a beige-coloured web page featuring the wording “Welcome to H-Sphere!” with a few details about your hosting account and may also feature a Login section. This is a parked page, default for our Hosting – simply because your Domain is empty.
